Reflections of Marshall Point Lighthouse
At the edge of Port Clyde, Maine, Marshall Point Lighthouse stands steady against the sea. I took this photo just after a light rain, when a thin puddle along the wooden walkway turned into a perfect mirror. The last light of day mixed with the soft tones of twilight, and for a moment, everything felt still.
This scene reminds me why I love photographing the Maine coast. The quiet after a storm, the reflection of sky on water, the simple geometry of wood and light. It’s peaceful, honest, and deeply New England.
